Review: Truffles & Chocolate Room (Koramangala, Bengaluru)

Hello people!

Welcome back to my blog.

Mid-semester just got over and I never felt so good.

It’s review time guys.

Place #1 Truffles

Truffles & Me.

I have been to truffles 3 times but always waived it goodbye from the outdoors only. Such crowded this place is. Anyways, I finally got a chance to enter this tantalizing place and friends I’m transfixed.

Ten Second takeaway:

Enticing food, Insta approvals, A place to celebrate togetherness **.

Insta Approval.

Pro Con Analysis

The legendary food: The reason this place deserves all the hype it’s got is because of its scrumptiously alluring food. I can go on adding adjectives about how tasty the food is and there won’t be any limit to it.

Service/Ambience: It’s got flash* like service. The ambiance is pretty decent. The thumping music is what brings life to this place.

Not to be biased but the moment they played BTS Mic Drop they simply won my heart.

*(DC comics Character in case you don’t know)

** Previously in the Ten Second takeaway I mentioned Truffles as a place to celebrate togetherness. Here’s the reason why:

At the end of the day, it all boils down to money. And this place isn’t a solo eating place at all. It is legitimately expensive. No matter how much soul-satisfying this place is but on the top of that it’s legit expensive and nobody denies this brutal fact.

That’s why it’s highly recommended to crash at Truffles with a bunch of friends who are willing to shred out money easily.

Place#2 Chocolate Room

There is nothing perfect in life than chocolate. Chocolate is bae. I hope it’s for my readers as well.

Ten Second Takeaway:

Enter a room stuffed with the chocolate smell, salivating your mouth every second until the dessert arrives. Because chocolate is bae.

Pro Con Analysis:

Aroma: The moment you step into this place, you are automatically teleported to the chocolate world. You inhale Chocolate smell, you exhale the same. The aroma is too too good.

Food: There is no food available here. It’s only chocolate and its subsidiaries. Choco bomb, Choco lava lava, Choco shakes etc etc etc. And it’s worth every single bite.

Choco lava…

Medium Expensive: This place isn’t very expensive but at the same time is not very cheap as well. According to me, it’s appropriately priced for a desert, a chocolate filled desert.

There is no con of this place except a word of caution from my side. I and my roommate once went to this place for dinner. And it was a terrific experience because we had so much chocolate that day that I started loathing chocolate. But everything is fine now.

In a nutshell, a good dessert is what makes a good day. DO try this chocolaty place once.

The North Indian Delight- Gramin, Kormangala

Hi fellas!

Welcome back to my blog.

When it comes to a typical North Indian food in Bengaluru, disappointments are common but the restaurants aren’t.

Reviving us out of our North Indian food-sickness is the place called Gramin, 100% vegetarian in nature.

My Girl Squad
Fun fact: My roommate gave her birthday treat at this place.

Let’s know more about this place.

Ten Second Takeaway:

Gramin Resturant situated in Raheja Arcade, Koramangala is a must visit for all the North Indians, looking for quality food at affordable prices.

1. Quality Food at Affordable Price– When it comes to Bengaluru, food is something no one can ignore. And a place having scrumptious food at affordable prices is a match made in heaven.

2. Approachable for Christites – I say that because from Christ University it is hardly 15-minute walk.

3. Fast and Great Service– ” A hungry man, is an angry man.” I always grumble about places that can’t offer food on time, but no worries friends this place won’t give you a chance to moan about on the delivery part at least.

4. Ambience- As the name suggests the ambience of this place is rooted in the Indian culture, typically Rajasthan and Gujarat.

A shout out to all the Madu’s reading this blog post, you definitely need to check this place out.

P.S. You can also order food from this place via Swiggy, Zamato and FoodPanda.

Address: Ground Floor, Raheja Arcade, Ganapathi Temple Road, 7th Block, Koramangala, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560095

Review: Om Made Cafe & Tenzin Kitchen (Kormangala,Bengaluru)

Hi folks!

Welcome back to my blog.

Esprit, the international intercollegiate fest of the Department of Management Studies, Christ University is finally over and I just got some time off to go out, chill and pen down my thoughts, for I feel it has been ages since I have posted anything.

So let’s get started!

Place #1 Om Made Cafe

Ten-second takeaway:

Om Made Cafe is a rooftop cafe existing in 5th Block, Koramangala which according to me, is worth exploring only once.

Pro-Con Analysis

1. Good Ambience: The ambiance of this rooftop cafe is amazing. The fresh Bengaluru air alongside a burning candle was an incredible experience. The decor of the cafe had an antique touch to it and was classy enough for Instagram uploads.

One Candle can light up my world.

1. Legit expensive: The moment I entered the place and saw the ambiance, I experienced the adrenaline rush gasping into my ears and telling me to get out or soon turn into a broke.

My fantasies turned into reality when I saw the bill- 480 bucks just for 2 deserts. wp-image-1332471779
2. Slow Service: The service bothered me a lot. The time in between the placing of the order and actually relishing your food was huge.

3. The Taste: Had the taste being amazing, I wouldn’t cringe so much about the money and the never-ending time gaps. But unfortunately whatever I ate; the taste was just average.

To Sum Up: Om Made Cafe is a good option to consider for high tea or snack time. For proper dinner or lunch, it’s simply not worth walking in.

Place #2 Tenzin kitchen

Ten-second takeaway:

Tenzin kitchen, situated in 7th block Koramangala is a Tibetan Style restaurant, worth stepping in multiple times.

Pro- Con Analysis:

1. Affordable & Quality Food: A cheap place whose scrumptious food is hard to find. Tenzin kitchen is one of the rarest gems of Koramangala which is capable of providing good food at affordable price.

When I went out with my friends I ordered:

A. Veg Manchurian

B. Hakka Noodles

C. Mojito

All the above-listed items cost me only 270 bucks with a considerable quantity of each.

2. Amazing Service: What makes this place one of the gems of Koramangala is the fast delivery of food.

I loathe killing my time by waiting in restaurants and any restaurant that fulfills this criterion automatically comes up on my priority list.

In spite of me repeatedly calling this place a gem, it has a flaw. The limitation is that the restaurant isn’t big enough to accommodate a lot of people and during peak hours is vulnerable to getting crowded.

But, do go and check it out once.
